Lagniappe
This Martis Camp concept, nicknamed Lagniappe by the owners, which is Creole for “a little extra something,” features two sharply angled A-frames which form the bulk of the residence. The smaller structure acts as an entryway and master suite. A broad and brief flight of stairs leads to the rest of the home located in the larger A-frame. The front half of this ‘A,’ joining the crosswise component at a 78° angle, is home to three guest suites on the main floor and an office and fourth guest suite on the upper floor. The A-frame’s angled segment connects to the rear segment by way of mulled picture windows. The rear segment features a kitchen, dining, and massive living room. Off the west wall of the A-frame is a covered outdoor dining & living space; off the end wall at the south is a patio and firepit.
Lagniappe is anticipated to begin construction in 2025.
